PTV Training Academy has the mission to provide quality environment and training to the participants to meet the challenges of modern media development. This is being achieved through:

• Updating the curriculum keeping in view the emerging new techniques and concepts in media industry.

• Basic training & foundation planning of producers, engineers, cameramen, designers, makeup artists, admin., finance, anchors and technicians.

• Refresher courses and updating of knowledge base at various levels.

• Introduction of new concepts in programme productions, camera techniques, news, current affairs, design etc.

• Introduction to new formats in engineering.

• Preparation of training materials.
